1841 Charles (Chas) Pyne, born in Walham Green, London.
1851 Chas is aged 10 and living in North End Road, Fulham with his parents James Baker Pyne (aged 50), a landscape painter, and his mother Anne (aged 45), along with his elder brother James B Pyne (aged 22), a "gold chaser", a sister Rosa Pyne (aged 21), and a younger brother Thomas Pyne (aged 9).
1861 Chas is living in Camden Road Villas, St. Pancras with his parents James Baker Pyne (aged 60) and his mother Anne (aged 55).
1881 Chas is living in Clarendon Road, Lewisham with his wife and young family.
1891 Chas (aged 49) is with his wife Charlotte A. (aged 39), and children Alice (19), Charles Percy (18), Florence (16) and Charlotte (14), living in St. George Road, Wimbledon.
1901 Chas lives with his wife and boarders in Croydon.
1911 Chas is listed as a widower living at 32 Doods Road, Reigate, Surrey, aged 70. His occupation is listed as "artist, landscape painter in water colours."
1920 Chas died aged 79 in Lambeth.
